
NHC’s Annual Federal Budget Forum provides both public and private-sector housing leaders with an extensive first look at housing concerns within the context of the federal budget proposal.

The NHC 2010 Federal Budget Forum provided a detailed overview of programs and initiatives from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) included in the President’s Fiscal Year 2011 Budget Proposal, with a particular emphasis on rental housing and homelessness assistance programs.
Raphael Bostic, assistant secretary of HUD's Office of Policy Development and Research, was the keynote speaker at the event.
